Homebuyer Tax Credit DOUBLED to $15,000?
A part of the stimulus package the Senate is proposing,the $7500 tax credit will be doubled to $15,000. More importantly,the newly proposed $15,000 will not have to be paid back like the $7500,which, in essence, was a interest free loan from the government. But wait there's more. Well,we didn't get a $15,000 first time home buyer tax credit,but they did raise it $500 to $8,000. And, these buyers don't have to pay it back as long as they're in the house for 3 years and they purchase before December 1st. So, the mortgage rates are at historical lows,the home prices are down,and there is $8,000 free money. Is there a better time to buy a home than now?

Mortgage Rate New Record Low-4.96% Yes, 4.96%!
It's happened again! The average 30 Year Fixed Mortgage Rate for the past week was 4.96%! Yes,it actually averaged under 5! For homeowners thinking about selling in the near future,now is definitely the time! And for buyers,the rate is at historic lows,and there's no telling when it will go back up again,but as history shows us,it will go up!
I have personally seen more buyers coming out in this market. In fact I just spoke with a buyer who has been renting for the past 4 years waiting for the right time to come out and make a purchase. She is looking in a price range that didn't even exist a year ago! This time in history will have more buyers than ever with the decling home prices and unbelievably low mortgage rates. And,keep in mind that the rate would be lower for a buyer with outstanding credit! If this isn't a great time to buy,I don't know what is!
